If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid, the common cold, or the flu, please let me know and we will reschedule your appointment for a later date when you are symptom free.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A MASSAGE APPOINTMENT?

When you arrive, please text 519-365-5925 with your name to let me know you are here. When I am ready for you, I will text you to come in. I'll meet you at the front door with standard Covid-19 screening questions. We will then head to the treatment room where we will go over your Health History Form you completed online. Based on your reason/area of complaint, we may do some orthopedic tests to pinpoint what needs to be treated. I will propose a treatment in detail and ask your consent. I will then leave the room and give you time to undress to your comfort level. If you have any hesitations about anything, please always speak up. I am happy to talk it through. 

A mask must be worn from the time you walk through the door to the time you leave, including during your treatment. If these requirements change I will update my policy. 

ANY BEHAVIOUR THAT I DEEM INAPPROPRIATE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF THE TREATMENT AND PERMANENT DISCHARGE. 

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

The most important thing to do before you arrive is to relax. This is a treatment aimed to reduce anxiety and stress, not cause it. Drink plenty of water the day of your appointment. A hydrated body helps to rid of built up toxins. Wear loose comfortable clothing. It isn't necessary but it's much more relaxing to redress into loose clothing rather than tight jeans. Don't forget to breathe! While it can be automatic of you to hold your breath when working on a troubled area, this can actually be quite counterproductive. Holding your breath often contracts your muscles, making it harder to do my part. Most importantly, don't forget to communicate! This is such an important aspect to a great experience. I will occasionally ask how everything is feeling, but in the meantime, if you like something, dislike the pressure, if you are in pain, or are feeling uncomfortable in anyway, please let me know. My main goal is to achieve your goals that you come in with. Lack of communication can hinder the outcome.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance to avoid facing a full fee charge. 

I respect your time, and I ask for the same. 

DO YOU DIRECT BILL?

 

At this time I will not be offering direct billing. I will provide you with a receipt with all necessary information for you to submit.

My home is a smoke free and pet free environment. If you have any other allergy related concerns please contact me for more information.
